Olmert denies receiving funds from Talansky in New York

Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert denied in his testimony at the Jerusalem District Court receiving funds from his acquaintance, Morris Talansky, while visiting New York in 2005. Olmert then served as the minister of industry, trade and labor.

"It's the story that never was. It doesn't have a beginning, middle or ending. It's a fantasy," Olmert said in court. "I did not meet with Talansky during that trip. I did not ask and did not receive money from him." (Omri Efraim)
