Unknown elements vandalized a car belonging to Hadar Alexander, 31, a left wing activist, in Jerusalem on Thursday. The car's windows were smashed, its tires punctured and the word "traitor" was sprayed on the hood.
The sabotage may be linked to political stickers attached to Alexander's car reading "peace", "not loyal to Lieberman" and "Leftist patriot." Police have launched an investigation.

Alexander says this is not the first time she has been targeted. "I work at an office near the Central Bus Station and have been parking my car near the Rabbi Kook Yeshiva for some time now," she told Ynet.

"I've been here since August but problems only started this week. The biggest damage was on Sunday, I called the police and they advised me to file a complaint. I had day of peace and this morning I discovered the damage again."
She does not believe the sabotage is connected to her work at Peace Now. "I've always had the stickers and I'm a fairly junior activist there, not to mention the fact I was less active this past year.
"It hurts me especially since the guys responsible for this may well be religious, as am I. It's a feeling of humiliation having to explain why 'traitor' is sprayed on my car."
Despite the launch of an inquiry, Alexander says she is disappointed with the police. "I may remove the stickers now, but it's sad that in 2011 Israel, which is supposed to be a democracy, one fears putting stickers on one's car."
