Iran: US sanctions jeopardize our citizens

Iran has protested the sanctions imposed on it by the US claiming they were jeopardizing the wellbeing of its citizens.
In a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Khazaee said that the continuation of "this vicious" policy is dangerous and will never serve world peace and security. On Thursday, Washington banned US firms from trading with the Iran Air airline and the Iranian port authority.(AFP)
