Israel has transferred at least seven senior Hamas operatives, who are imprisoned within the State's territory, to solitary confinement, Ynet has learned. While the Israeli Prison Service refused to comment on the information, sources close to the measure confirmed it.
Earlier Hamas announced that Palestinian prisoners who are detained in Israel will go on a 24-hour hunger strike in protest against the senior operatives' isolation. (Attila Somfalvi and Eli Senyor)
