2 attacked in Beersheba; Police suspect terror act

An unidentified man hit a 40-year-old passerby and sprayed tear gas at a cab driver near the Beersheba Municipality building. The two suffered light and moderate injuries and were taken to the Soroka Medical Center.

The police suspect that the incident was an act of terror that was carried out on a nationalistic background. Security forces are searching the region for the perpetrator. (Ilana Curiel)
