Man who stole from Auschwitz is Herzliya official, retired colonel

Moti Posloshani, a department head in the Herzliya Municipality, is the Israeli who was apprehended over the weekend on suspicion of stealing artifacts from the Auschwitz death camp. Posloshani, an IDF colonel (res.), was caught with his wife while stealing cutlery and scissors.

Posloshani has submitted his resignation to the municipality following the incident. (Yoav Zitun)
