Polish FM: EU seeks joint position on Palestinians

Poland's foreign minister says the European Union is working to forge a common position in the event that the UN is asked to recognize a Palestinian state this autumn.

Radek Sikorski said Wednesday any common position would depend on the resolution's wording. Palestinian officials are likely to request action at the meeting of the UN General Assembly in September. (AP)
