Flights diverted to Cairo, Amman due to airport malfunction

None

Six flights on their way to Ben Gurion International Airport were diverted to alternate airports because of a malfunction in runway lighting.

A routine check revealed that one of the runway lights had burned out and the flights were therefore diverted to airports in Cairo, Amman, and Larnaca in Cyprus. (Yoav Zitun)
