Gaza resident sentenced to 20 years for firing missiles at Israel

The Beersheba District Court sentenced Nahed Hamid, a 32-year-old Gaza Strip resident, to 20 years in prison for national security violations.
According to the charge sheet, between 2003-2007 Hamid was involved in firing Qassam rockets towards Sderot, firing missiles towards the Erez crossing and planting bombs at IDF sites. (Ilana Curiel)
