Syria: Gov't attempts to disperse protest at Aleppo

A protest gathered at the center of the Syrian city of Aleppo, the Al Jazeera news network and opposition websites reported. According to the reports, government forces are attempting to disperse the rally.

The Syrian opposition is hoping to join Aleppo to the protest circuit, eventually spreading the anti-government demonstrations to the capital, Damascus. (Roee Nahmias)
