Minister: Hamas flotilla involvement – proof of provocation

Minister of Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs Yuli Edelstein addressed reports published in Thursday's Dutch Telegraph Newspaper which stated that senior Hamas member Amin Abu Rashed was involved in preparations for the Gaza flotilla and said that it was "clear proof that this is not a humanitarian flotilla rather it is a provocation."
"During the previous flotilla Abu Rashed expressed his intention to confront IDF soldiers and the possibility that that is his intention for the current flotilla it must be taken into consideration. Israel is prepared for any scenario and now the international community must back Israel up many times over," said the minister (Attila Somfalvi)
