Iran: US using tribunal to intervene in Lebanese politics
Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani slammed the indictments filed against Hezbollah members for the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in 2005.
"We know that the United States was opposed to the establishment of a government led by Najob Mikati, but they failed due to the vigilance of Lebanon's leaders. Now they created the tribunal, which they use as a tool to express their dissatisfaction with the new government," Larijani said. (AFP)
