Senior Palestinian officials expected in DC for talks

Chief Palestinian Negotiator Saeb Erekat and Mahmoud Abbas' spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh are expected to arrive in Washington on Wednesday for a meeting with US Middle East Envoy David Hale and other senior US officials. The purpose of the talks will be to find a way to resume the peace process.
In an interview given to the Palestinian Voice Erekat claimed that the Palestinians have yet to receive any new US ideas for resuming talks. David Hale visited Jerusalem and Ramallah last week and spoke with both sides about ways to resume negotiations. (Elior Levy, Ynet's Palestinian affairs correspondent)
