Study: Food prices rise 12.7% over three years

The food prices in Israel have risen 5.5 times faster than in Europe over the past thee years, a study conducted by the Knesset Research and Information Center shows.
The survey, which was prepared ahead of a discussion on food costs that is expected to take place Monday at the Knesset's Finance Committee, shows that the prices in Israel have risen by 12.7% over the past three years, compared to 2.2% in Europe. (Zvi Lavi and Moran Azulay)
