Greek prime minister calls Abbas to discuss peace talks

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou has called Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and the efforts to restart the peace talks with Israel.

Greece has detained over the past weekend the American boat "Audacity of Hope," which attempted depart from an Athens port towards the Gaza Strip – without the necessary permits. The Greek authorities also arrested the boat's captain. (Elior Levy, Ynet's Palestinian affairs correspondent)
