Landslide hits village in Nepal, killing 2
Police say a landslide has hit a remote village in mountainous western Nepal, killing two people and leaving four others missing.
Police official Mahendra Khadka said villagers at Thumki dug two bodies and pulled one person alive after the landslide swept away houses early Monday. The village is located 200 kilometers northwest of capital Katmandu and reachable only by foot. (AP)
