Aharonovitch laments officers' low wages
Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch lamented the "shameful" wages received by police officers, saying that if reparations are not made soon he will be forced to establish an officers' union.
"Police officers live in a sad state, and it is a shame to the people of Israel," he told the Knesset's Interior Committee. (Moran Azulay)
