National Infrastructure Minister Uzi Landau said Monday that the Egypt pipeline gas flow suspension will not have an immediate effect on Israel's economy. Speaking at the Knesset's Finance Committee he said, "Israel has answers for the immediate timeframe."
He added: "We are handling the matter by changing the mix of fuels in power stations. No disruptions in power supply are expected, we have simulated these situations in the past and are prepared." (Zvi Lavi)
