Defense Minister Ehud Barak accused the Palestinians of attempting to make side deals so they can blame Israel for the failure of the peace talks. "It doesn't rid us of the need to search for a way to a serious conversation, which will eliminate the need for a UN ruling," Barak said during an Independence faction meeting.
Barak also said that Israel is very interested in "to ironing out the difficulties with Turkey, and finding a way to put the past behind us." (Attila Somfalvi)
