Minister for Strategic Affairs Moshe Ya'alon will leave for New York Monday night ahead of the publication of the Palmer Report into the events surrounding the flotilla to Gaza in 2010.
Ya'alon is set to meet with Turkish representatives as well as others ahead of the submission of the report. The Turks are interested in softening the expected criticism of the Turkish government and in light of efforts to improve joint relations between the tow countries, Israel is willing be more flexible about the report.
