Cabinet minister claims body transfer not discussed

Ministers in the Political-Security Cabinet criticized the way in which a decision was made to transfer 84 terrorists' bodies to the Palestinian Authority. The decision was revoked by Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Monday.
"The issue of the bodies was not discussed in any forum, the cabinet ministers were not aware which bodies were referenced and no professional element presented them with a list," one minister said. "Even if this gesture proves to be effective, dozens of bodies cannot be handed over without a discussion being held on the matter." (Attila Somfalvi)
