Two Turkish soldiers killed in attack

Two Turkish soldiers were shot dead on Tuesday as they left their homes in the town of Yuksekova in southeast Turkey, state-run Anatolian news agency reported.

The attacks happened in the province of Hakkari, bordering Iran and Iraq, which is at the heart of a conflict between the state and the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerrilla group. (Reuters)
