Barak says decision to transfer bodies being checked

Defense Minister Ehud Barak addressed the decision to freeze the transfer of bodies to the Palestinian Authority on Tuesday. "We are looking into the issue and how the decision was made," he said. "These bodies are slowly disappearing, pretty soon there won't be anything to transfer."

The minister said he delayed the transfer to make sure that "bodies that should not be transferred aren't handed over, both out of Shalit-related considerations and others." (Hanan Greenberg)
