Intelligence chief: Iran assisted 'Nakba Day' riots

The head of IDF Military Intelligence, Maj.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi, told the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that Iran directly assisted the rioters who tried to break through Israel's northern border on both 'Nakba Day' and 'Naksa Day'.
"Iran is making efforts to ensure that such protests will continue," Kochavi said. He added that both Iran and Hezbollah are also helping Syria to oppress protesters in order to prevent anti-government rallies from spreading to Iran. (Moran Azulay)
