Green trend: Number of recycled bottles up 26%

Ela Recycling Corporation, which reprocesses beverage bottles, reported that a 26% increase in the number of bottles taken to collection facilities was registered in May.

According to the data, 15.2 million bottles were discarded at the recycling collection bins in May of this year, compared to 12.1 million in May 2010. (Yael Darel)
