Iran official visits Iraq to further boost ties

Iran's first vice president has kicked off an official visit to Iraq aimed at further boosting ties between the neighboring countries' Shiite governments.
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki greeted Mohammad Reza Rahimi after the Iranian delegation landed in Baghdad on Wednesday. Rahimi is leading a team of government officials and businessmen. He is scheduled to meet senior Iraqi officials and attend an investment meeting. (AP)
