Lieberman: Israel won't apologize to Turkey

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman addressed the events of last May's Gaza-bound flotilla, saying that Israel laments "the killing of people from various nations and organizations." However, Lieberman, who spoke at a Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee meeting, also stressed that he is not prepared to take any disrespect towards Israel.
"Israel is prepared to reach a compromise, but an apology is not in a compromise, it's a humiliation and the abandonment of IDF soldiers," he said. (Moran Azulay)
