Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman addressed the possibility that the UN will recognize a Palestinian state, saying that "the Foreign Ministry's biggest concern is that the Palestinians will become members of the International Court of Justice through the UN, which can be a serious problem."
Lieberman, who spoke at a Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee meeting, noted that his ministry is taking steps to prepare for the chance that the Palestinians will attempt to surprise Israel by submitting a request for recognition at the last minute. (Moran Azulay)
