Police commissioner supports conviction of 'Nakba Day' rioter
Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino addressed the court sentence given to a 37-year-old man from Majdal Shams convicted of rioting and casting stones at security forces on "Nakba Day." Danino said the conviction is a tail wind for the police's actions at such a sensitive time."
The man was sentenced to eight months in prison and imposed with a NIS 2,500 (approx. $730) fine. (Omri Efraim)
