North Koreas pay respects to late President Kim
Streams of North Koreans are paying their respects to late President Kim Il Sung, the country's founder, on the 17th anniversary of his death.
Footage from Associated Press Television News shows citizens and soldiers laying bouquets and bowing deeply Friday before a statue of Kim in Pyongyang, the capital. Kim, the father of current leader Kim Jong Il, died of heart failure in 1994 but is still deeply revered as the country's "eternal president." (AP)
