Officials honor Jews killed by Poles in Holocaust

None

State and religious figures from Poland and abroad are gathering for a ceremony to mark 70 years since Poles massacred their Jewish neighbors during World War II.

The ceremony Sunday in Jedwabne, in northeastern Poland, is the first that will be attended by a high official of Poland's Roman Catholic Church. Jewish religious leaders, ambassadors from Israel, Germany and the United States and an envoy from Poland's President Bronislaw Komorowski are also to attend. (AP)
