Israel imports at standstill due to computer system collapse

Imports into the State of Israel were nearly completely halted since Sunday morning due to a glitch in the computer system, Ynet learned Monday.
The Standards Institution, the body responsible for most products imported into Israel recently installed a new internet system that uses smart cards. Since the system's installation its operations have been interrupted on numerous occasions until is complete collapse on Sunday. (Tani Goldstein)
