23 'flytilla' activists deported; 58 still detained

Some 23 activists who arrived in Israel as part of the pro-Palestinian fly-in but were denied entrance were deported to their home countries, the Population and Immigration Authority reported.
Among the 23 were six French activist, two Germans and 15 Belgians. Earlier, a Belgian citizen was released after promising to avoid causing disturbances. The Population and Immigration Authority is making efforts to coordinate the departure of 58 additional activists detained at Givon Prison. (Omri Efraim)
