PM extends condolences to Cyprus president over naval base blast

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken with Cyprus President Dimitris Christofias, and extended his condolences for the arms cache blast that took the lives of 12 people and injured dozens. The explosion took place at a naval base on the island.
During the conversation, Netanyahu expressed his gratitude for the aid that Cyprus gave Israel during the Carmel fire disaster. The prime minister also ordered medical, search and rescue supplies to be sent to Cyprus. (Attila Somfalvi)
