IDF: Palestinian tried to escape, was shot in legs
Following Palestinian reports of a Palestinian shot to death in Nablus, IDF sources said Wednesday that during a round of arrests the forces identified a man trying to escape. The soldiers carried out the suspect arrest protocol that ended with shots being fired at the man's lower extremities. The injured man was evacuated and received medical care from local medics.
The IDF said that his condition remained unknown and further added that the incident was being looked into. They noted that during the routine arrests, explosives were thrown at the forces, no one was injured. (Hanan Greenberg)
