Rabbi supports Sephardic student placement committee

Education Minister Gideon Saar met with Shas' spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef following the ministry's demand to establish a committee for placement of Sephardic students ahead of the new academic year.
Rabbi Ovadia gave his blessing to the committee and called him to continue his battle against discrimination of girls from Sephardic backgrounds in Ashkenazi education institutions. (Tomer Velmer and Kobi Nahshoni)
