PA recognizes South Sudan

PA Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki announced that the authority has recognized South Sudan.

Al-Maliki said at a press conference that he has sent an official message to the new nation's foreign minister, and added that "the Palestinian Authority will provide any aid necessary to the newborn state." (Roee Nahmias)
