Palestinians fired a rocket at southern Israel overnight. The projectile landed in an open area at the Eshkol Regional Council area. No injuries or damage were reported.
Early Saturday morning, IDF aircrafts targeted a Gaza militant which was identified as gearing to fire rockets at Israel.

Medical sources in Gaza Strip reported that a member of a terror cell was injured in the strike, which took place east of Gaza City.
Saturday's fire joins a trickle of projectile fire at southern Israel, which has been evident over the past week. The IAF struck several terror targets in the Strip in response.
Military sources said that Hamas is doing nothing to prevent such fire at Israel. the military stressed that "these attempts against Israeli communities will not be tolerated and will meet the proper response."
