Jerusalem: 1 protester arrested after attacking cop

A religious man belonging to the Eda Haredit ultra-Orthodox sect was arrested in Jerusalem during a protest against the opening of Karta parking lot on Shabbat. Police said the man attacked a police officer.

An estimated 100 demonstrators are participating in the rally, some of which called the cops "Nazis," spit on then and threw stones and water balloons at them. (Omri Efraim)
