Knesset Ethics Committee suspends MK Zoabi

The Knesset Ethics Committee led by Knesset Member Yitzhak Vaaknin (Shas) decided to suspend Hanin Zoabi (Balad) for participating in last year's Gaza flotilla.
Zoabi will be removed from all house activities except voting in the plenum until the end of the current sitting which ends in two weeks. In response Zoabi demanded that Knesset Chairman apologize over the damage to her good name in order to avoid libel proceedings.(Moran Azulay)
