The chairman of the joint government real estate law committee Knesset Member Carmel Shama-Hacohen (Likud) announced that he will be meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Monday afternoon to discuss incorporating committee deliberation content into the law.

According to Shama-Hacohen they will try to examine how to combine "obtainable housing elements and rentals so that the law won't be exploited by people of means." Shama-Hacohen said that the Knesset needed to be alert to what was happening on the streets even if the law was formulated and submitted before the Knesset before the public outcry broke out.
