Rights activists say clashes overnight between Yemeni security forces and thousands of anti-government protesters have left at least 30 people injured in the western port city of Hodeida.
Activist Badie al-Absi says soldiers and security men fired tear gas and live munition to disperse the protesters, who were demonstrating against President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the 33rd anniversary of his rule. (AP)
