Bill for life long stipend for terror acts' orphans advances

The Knesset unanimously approved on first reading a compensation bill equalizing the status of orphans whose parents were killed in terror acts to the status of widowers and widows who receive a life long stipend.
The bill, proposed by MK Dalia Itzik (Kadima) and MK Zevulun Orlev (Habayit Hayehudi), offers to alter the current situation in which of orphans whose parents were killed in acts of hostility receive benefits until the age of 27 and a partial stipend until they reach 37 years of age. (Moran Azulay)
