Merkel meets Medvedev in Germany for talks

The leaders of Russia and Germany met Tuesday for wide-ranging talks on their countries' business ties and international issues, including the ongoing Libya conflict and Europe's debt crisis.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev started their two-day meeting in Hannover with an informal dinner Monday evening, followed by a breakfast that included industry representatives from both countries Tuesday, Merkel's spokesman Steffen Seibert said. (AP)
