Report: Israelis hit by New Zealand quake were Mossad spies

Israeli Ambassador Shemi Tzur has dismissed as "science fiction" suspicions that agents of Israel's secret service, Mossad, had been caught up in the Christchurch earthquake in February.

According to earlier reports in New Zealand's Southland Times newspaper, intelligence services suspected Ofer Mizrahi, who was killed instantly when the van the four were in was crushed by falling concrete in Christ Church's earthquake in February, and his friends were Mossad agents because "five or six different passports" were found among his belongings. Tzur said there was more than one passport among Mizrahi's belongings but he was unaware of five or six being found. (Ynet)
