iPhone thief gets 30 months in prison

The Nazareth District Court has sentenced Mohammed Basoul, a 28-year old resident of the north, to 30 months in prison and a $1,500 fine for stealing a woman's iPhone and interfering with a police officer.
Basoul was found guilty of stealing the phone from its owner while she stood at a bus stop and then fleeing. Police found him using a locating application installed on the phone. (Hassan Shaalan)
