Flotilla activist: Arrest in Israel was humiliating
Three people arrested Tuesday aboard the French ship Dignite/Al Karama , whose passengers aimed to sail to Gaza but were stopped by Israeli naval forces, returned to Paris Wednesday. Nine other passengers are expected to arrive in the evening.
"We were accused of wanting to enter Israel, but if there's one thing we did not want to do it's to go to Israel," one activist, Jean-Claude Lefort, said upon arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport. He added that the arrest was a humiliating experience. (AFP)
