Schools' summer vacation to be shortened by 5 days

The Education Ministry announced the next summer vacation would be shortened by five days which would be given back during the holiday season.
The decision states that in the next school year the Chanukah and Passover vacation would begin a day earlier and that 2012-13 school year would begin on August 26 2012. (Tomer Velmer)
