A senior UN envoy is urging Lebanon and Israel to promote oil and gas exploration off their coasts despite a dispute over their maritime border.
Michael Williams, the UN's special coordinator for Lebanon, told reporters Thursday that such disputes are common and companies will avoid the contested area. (AP)
