The United States has expressed its sympathy to the Norwegian government over the Oslo bombing and offered aid, but so far Norway has not requested help.
State Department spokewoman Heide Bronke Fulton said the US condemns the "despicable acts of violence" in Oslo. She said the department is trying to determine if any US citizens were killed or injured in the bombing and has no confirmed reports of American casualties. (AP)
